Khule Africa is a nonprofit ministry founded and lovingly operated by Mindy Hungerford. Rooted in faith and compassion, the mission of Khule Africa is to serve orphaned and impoverished children living in the slums of Uganda.

What began in an 800-square-foot shack has grown into a 2,500-square-foot home that now provides daily care, spiritual guidance, education, food, clean water, hygiene support, and medical assistance to children who would otherwise go without.

Khule Africa exists to restore dignity, offer hope, and create opportunities for children to thrive. Through our child sponsorship program, donors directly support the needs of individual children, helping them go to school, receive daily meals, and experience the love of Christ in a safe and nurturing environment.

Mindy leads the ministry with full transparency and a heart for sustainable change. Each January, mission teams travel to Uganda to meet the children, see the impact in person, and serve alongside our local team.

At Khule Africa, we believe every child deserves to be seen, supported, and given the chance to rise.
